Monte la Conca is located in the heart of the area of production of Primitivo di Manduria DOP.
As for climatic and soil conditions, Monte la Conca’s vineyard benefits from a long exposure to the sun during the day and from generally high temperatures with almost no rainfall during warmer months.

Moreover, shallow and poor red topsoil also contributes to make this vineyard an ideal habitat for red grapes with great structure and intense colour, such as Malvasia Nera and Negroamaro.
The yield of the plants growing at Monte La Conca is very low, so is the average rainfall during the year. This results in full-bodied wines with a round and pleasant structure and a good ageing potential.
